Background Check Only - Info Attached

The Diocese of Springfield requires all adults who may have any contact with the children in our school or parish to take Safe Environment Training and consent to a Background Check. If you have previously taken the Safe Environment Training (or Protecting God's Children), you do not need to take the new Safe Environment Training. Once you have taken Protecting God's Children or the Safe Environment Training, you do not have to take it again. However, the background check has to be renewed every 5 years.
 
If you have already had the class and just need to renew your background check, the process is completed online through CMG Connect. 
 
Please follow the instructions on the attached flyer. You will have to print, complete, sign and return one form in the background check process. If you need a paper copy or need us to send this form in for you, let us know.
